Computers For Schools - Ontario Supports computer literacy for students from kindergarten to grade 12, and for all Canadians through public libraries. (Part of Canada's "Connecting Canadians" program) Goodwill Industries of Alberta (Canada) A registered charity incorporated under the Provincial Societies Act since 1950. Their mission is to assist Albertans with disabilities and disadvantages attain greater independence through vocational training and employment. Goodwill Industries of Alberta operates six Goodwill Stores within the City of Edmonton and two in Calgary. They accept electronic equipment, such as computers and TV's in good/working condition, and many other items. Goodwill Industries of Toronto (Canada) Goodwill Toronto is affiliated with Goodwill Industries International, a charity that has operated for a hundred years and is now represented in dozens of countries around the world. Goodwill's mission is to provide effective vocational programs and services to people who face employment barriers, with a view to enabling them to become as self-reliant as possible. They accept electrical items in working order, such as computers, TV's, and many other items. Environmental Computer Recycling Company Environmental Computer Recycling Co. is a first and second tier recycling company committed to REUSING, REFURBISHING, and RECYCLING computers and their components in an environmentally safe manner. Based in the Niagara Region of Canada we service all of Canada and the USA. PEP Computer Recycling: Canada (PEP: Resources for Parents, Educators & Publishers) A State, National and International Directory of agencies that facilitate donations of used computer hardware for schools and community groups. Technology Recycling Computers Program for Schools (Annapolis Valley) We accept used computers for recycling from businessess, government agencies, other organizations. and individuals After we check and refurbish the computers, we then pass on them onto local schools.
